2Plan have been appointed in a monitoring role on a construction management project for private clients on the refurbishment of their newly acquired property. Works involve asbestos removal, replacement of roof coverings and ceilings throughout, addressing some historic defects, replacement of services and finishes throughout. Works are due to complete late spring 2025.

Start on site – House Extension, Godalming, Surrey

Contracts were awarded and work started on site extending an Edwardian property for private clients in Surrey. Owing to poor ground the site required piling in a confined area with limited access and external finishes had to be carefully selected to match the existing building using local trades. 2Plan have been appointed as Project Manager, Contract Administrator and QS.

Project Completion – Large HMO, Acton, West London

Handover took place of a large House in Multiple Occupation in West London, 2Plan provided Contract Administration and QS services to an international client and worked with their chosen team to deliver another repeat project. The work involved extending a property on three sides, full refurbishment and fitting out in line with interior design requirements for studio living.

Project Completion – School Plant Replacement

Successful completion has taken place of the refitting of three plant rooms including heating boilers, pumps and control at a large secondary school in Farnham, Surrey. The project involved removal of asbestos as an initial contract followed by maintaining temperature throughout a cold time of year using temporary plant whilst plant replacement took place. 2Plan acted as Employers Agent and QS.
