CDM Co-Ordinator

Our service consists of initial estimates, cost planning, procurement and contract advice, managing the tender process, preparing contract documents and full post contract cost control and reporting.  
We deliver projects on time, to budget, to the required standard in a safe and sustainable manner organising the disparate elements of a project to ensure that they work together for the benefit of the client.
Involvement includes defining the brief, site identification, organising site surveys, feasibility studies, managing a diverse range of specialists such as designers, planning consultants, legal, highways, environmental and others. We are usually involved in the early stages of project but this may continue throughout the lifespan of a scheme.
2Plan helps clients to identify the project strategy, specify objectives, outline possible options and select the appropriate route forward through value and risk assessment.
Our role involves planning and managing the design team’s input and deliverables for the project which can become intensive during detailed design and production information stages of a project.
Clients need to know that their interests and investments are being represented so 2Plan assists in the negotiation process with developers and joint venture partners then monitors project progress through to completion, reporting to the client at every step of the way.
When a group of similar type projects need to be managed, 2Plan can co-ordinate and plan the activities, manage and co-ordinate resources, addressing bottlenecks and report to the client.
We assist with managing and overseeing pre and post contract activities including integration of the specialist works packages employed by the client.
2Plan act as the Employer’s Agent under the Building Contract carrying out the administration required, monitoring the works and contractors performance.
Where an occupier wishes either to take new space from a landlord or developer or alter their existing area, 2Plan acts to safeguard the landlord's interest and assist with making sure that the tenants comply with their obligations.
We can provide strategic advice for projects, for clients planned construction activity, methods of procurement, selection processes and programming.
For selected projects, we can act as CDM Co-ordinator, carrying out the specific function required under the CDM Regulations. These are typically for smaller projects.
