Our Service Consists of Preparing Initial Estimates, Cost Planning, Procurement and Contract Advice, Managing the Tender Process, Preparing Contract Documents and Full Post Contract Cost Control and Reporting.
Since 2001, 2Plan Project Management have been providing Quantity Surveying for a variety of different projects.
We’re situated in Woking, Surrey and so we have the advantage of being well placed to offer services across the South East, but we have had many projects over the years further afield.
Quantity Surveying Services
Our typical range of quantity surveying services include:
Pre-Construction
- Prepare high level budget costing of proposals based on Concept Design drawings.
- Prepare elemental estimates and cash flow based upon design drawings.
- Attend briefing meeting, provide advice on tendering strategy and forms of building contract, advise on cost risks.
- Attend meetings with the professional team.
- Prepare tender documents in conjunction with the team.
- Advise on tendering contractors.
- Issue tenders on the client’s behalf.
- Arrange site visits by the contractors.
- Receive and review tenders.
- Attend post tender interviews with Contractors.
- Report on tenders received.
- Agree and prepare Contract Documents and arrange for them to be signed.
Construction
- Agree the value of any variations with the Contractor.
- Agree the value of regular interim payments to the Contractor.
- Review contract correspondence, address and raise queries and advise on cost and contractual matters.
- Attend pre-start and progress meetings as required.
- Prepare cost reports and cash flow predictions as agreed.
Post-Construction
- Agree final account with the Contractor and make recommendations to the client.
- Prepare the final valuation at the end of the defects period.
- If required, advise on claims for extension of time or loss and expense.
- If required advise on cost rebuilding for insurance purposes.
