Residential Conversion Project at Oakley Place in Church Crookham Hampshire
Over the last year, we have been acting as quantity surveyors, project managers and contract administrators for an innovative and exciting residential conversion project at Oakley Place in Church Crookham Hampshire.
We worked with Volute London Limited and Perseverance Architects on the conversion of a former two storey industrial unit to 44 residential units including partitions, mezzanine platforms to utilise high floor to ceiling heights, services including all electric heating, alterations to underground drainage, floor wall and ceiling finishes and kitchen and bathroom fittings.
As part of the design and in what we believe is the largest project of this type for a residential build, the work included the installation of a vinyl wrap on the building’s exterior which completely transformed it’s look. This type of wrap is normally used commercially and is temperature and weather dependent so it was a complex project to manage in order to ensure that the wrap was successfully completed.
